Meanwhile, an Irish TV host has shared a clip reviewing the popular Kim Kardashian brand SKIMS.
Mary-Claire Fitzpatrick, who posts on TikTok as @mcluvs2laugh, took to the app to post a video of the before and after.
SKIMS is a shape-wear brand selling a range of items that – similar to Spanx – help wearers to appear slimmer.
In the clip Mary-Claire said: “I ordered some SKIMS! I saw them all over TikTok and I kept seeing people hype them up.
“I wanted to see if they lived up to that hype – so let me do a little before and after.
“I’ll try on a dress and see if they make a difference.”
Mary-Claire wears a UK size 10, and bought the SKIMS in a size Small-Medium.
She tried a dress with the SKIMS underneath.
She said: “First impressions is yeah, it definitely feels tight but not restrictive.
“It doesn’t make me feel like I can’t breathe – so they are comfortable.
“The material is quite light. I still feel like I have a tiny bit of a bloaty belly there, but I’d be curious to see what this would be like after a big meal.”
